Change in honesty

Before I ended up in hospital I had a very strict set of rules about who I would tell what, there were a handful of friends who I trust lots and there was my shrink so he could do things with all the knowledge he needed. Then aside from that I would not tell people everything, even my parents only got a limited picture of what was going on. This worked for me and made me feel safe and that I had control of the situation.
