My love of photography

For me this started at a young age, I got a proper camera when I was young and remember the enjoyment I got from taking a picture of something that would last forever. It also was the day of using film when taking them, so you normally could only take one shot of the image you wanted to.
At that age, my photography was very hit and miss some photos were good others were terrible and out of focus.

Then when I went to university for the first time they were starting to make digital cameras. Taking the way you took photos in a whole new direction. It gave you the ability to now going from hoping you got a good photo to be able to take several and even look at them there and then and deciding which to keep and which to delete.

So with my first student loan I went out and got myself a digital camera, it was only a 2-megapixel camera but changed the way I took photos drastically. It then became more than just a hobby for me, but it became an amazing way of getting rid of stress and making me feel so much more relaxed.
Even when I was getting hypomanic or feeling a bit depressed; taking my camera out with me could change those moods significantly for me.
