Things that have changed my life
When it comes to life the path of least resistance is the one we all normally take, the one that means we have to make the least changes and the amount of effort to get a reward is the lowest that we can achieve. But then now and then there is an event that happens that makes us change how we see things or do things differently. Some are big events others are small ones both can change the direction we take.
Looking at my life there have been lots of events that I have experienced to date that have changed things for me. Some bit some small, but all have impacted how I have then moved on as a result of it and changed how I do things.
My life was a good one; I was born into a loving middle-class family where both my parents encouraged me to do my best at anything I wanted to do. From an early age, it was obvious that academically I was gifted and my parents would encourage me to do things, though I was always lazy and knew I could do things with the least amount of effort and still get a good mark.
The first time that life took a different path for me was in my mid-teens, at the time I didn’t know what it was but it was the development of my bipolar and anorexia. From a normal situation, I was now dealing with two things that I didn’t understand that we’re having an impact on my life. I wouldn’t know what they were until later in life…
